The Reserve Bank of India has launched a survey on India’s Startup Sector (SISS) to record the profiles of these businesses and to get first-hand information about their profitability, workforce and other crucial factors. The survey would also aim at talking about the problems being faced by the sector in the country.
The survey has been added to the RBI’s webiste and can be seen under the ‘forms’ section. According to reports, RBI has already mailed the survey to all startups as per details by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) in March 2018.
The website can be used by startups that are yet to receive the mail from RBI. They can download the survey form from the website of RBI. The identity of the respondent will not be revealed. This step is taken encourage startup founders to participate in the survey. With this step, RBI intends to have a huge and reliable data of startups in India.
