Kerala Startup Mission will release funds for 50 innovative, scalable and relevant ideas from different industries. The move is part of its financial aid project that focuses on adopting technology for the welfare of society.
Students, professionals and innovators who are currently working on their product or innovative concepts can participate in the event to be held at Kochi on December 23, Idea Day. Applications from outside Kerala would also be considered. The deadline is on December 13.
Startups with primary model and development idea of a product can apply for innovation grants provided by Kerala Startup Mission. A grant of up to ₹12 lakh will be provided for a product that can be marketed globally.
Providing government funds for startups has been a key element in keeping the state’s startup ecosystem. This financial aid project is aimed at bringing the best innovators on a single platform.
The project focuses on innovative products in hardware, software, AI, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Enterprise Resource Planning.
