Users will be able to buy goods from merchants whom they follow on Instagram and buy directly from them using the app.
According to reports, the app is still being developed and the launch date has not yet been disclosed.

Instagram is not only looking to tap into the online shopping sector.
The social media site has also been testing its new messaging app, Direct, since December 2017.
