Mobile advertising platform InMobi has partnered with Microsoft to create artificial intelligence-based marketing platform. This partnership will give a new revenue stream for the Bangalore-based InMobi.

The company presently focuses on advertising space, which is dominated by Google, Facebook and now Amazon. InMobi has generated a business of $400 million from the advertising spaces.

“Enterprises have customers across devices and platforms. We will provide them with software to manage this complex system and provide actionable insights. And they will also have our media buying (advertising) platform,” said  Naveen Tewari , co-founder, InMobi.

The new marketing platform will help marketers get a better view of each customer, which enables them to create the content more effectively. It works by combining the data of customers with that of InMobi and emphasizes customer engagement solutions, impact measurement and response to customer feedback.

The partnership will also give InMobi access to Microsoft’s extensive base of enterprise customers and to its AI-related latest technologies.

“The combination of Microsoft Azure (cloud platform) with InMobi’s marketing platforms will deliver new intelligent customer experiences and business insights to organisations around the world,” said Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.
