Neena was an ambitious girl who dreamt of making it big in movies. She did her post graduation in visual communication and was all set to grab her dream career. But fate had something else in store for her. She met with a gory accident and sustained grave injuries. She was bedridden for over a year. Her hope, aspirations, and dreams faded away.
But life gave Neena one more chance, for she was a fighter. A resurrection! She became one among the first radio jockeys in Kerala. The miraculous escape from the mishap redefined her perspectives towards life. Neena, who was often called a poor communicator during her childhood, is now the voice of the voiceless.
I get inspired everytime when I realise everything is in this moment, the very moment and be happy in its grace. I believe there is always light at the end of the tunnel. I also find inspiration from my past.
Tip to aspiring Radio Jockeys
Look around and learn about your people first as you cater to them. Be yourself and celebrate what you like and spread that, don’t hide you. Expose and express yourself, respecting the fellow beings’ existence. People like authenticity. Learn and grow with wisdom.
Biggest influence on my life
People who broke my heart influenced me as I learnt forgiveness because of them. Malayalam book ‘Aadujeevitham‘ shook me. But no book has ever influenced my life as such.
What am I grateful for?
I had lost my face in an accident. I am grateful to everything around me, my rebirth had taught me to fall in love with everything odd or even.
How do I unwind?
For me, the best way to unwind is to spend more time with myself.
