You can always see people from different walks of life, from media persons to students to well known names in the industry, knocking Shambhavi’s  doors to predict their future!

Over the span of 19 years, she has won many awards including Women Achievers Award, Influencers Award, Grand Master in Tarot Prediction etc.

Shambhavi believes tarot reading is science as well as an art. Before turning into tarot reading, she had worked in corporate circle for over a decade.

How did she find success in this uncertain domain of tarot reading? What made her a reputed tarot reader? Let’s find out as Shambhavi deciphers her exciting story!

1) How did you get your idea for this business?

I initially started reading cards as a weekend hobby alongside my job at the times of india, lavasa, airtel etc. The decision to make it a full time profession came to my mind, when I was in my family way.

Having to sacrifice my regular job for being a mother and homemaker somewhere left me craving for more. Plus, my existing clients who had befitted from my readings were constantly encouraging me to take the plunge. I decided to give it a shot.

2) Why is “now” a good time for this idea to exist?

With the increase in the stress levels now, many of us need a space to unwind, to get some clarity, advice, to introspect and sometimes just to speak their hearts out without being judged to a friend or a confidant. I guess I offer all of these to those who come seeking for it to me.

3) What was the reaction from your family when you first decided to become an entrepreneur?

There weren’t any major really reactions as my extended family thought perhaps it won’t last long enough. However, my husband motivated me and let me follow my heart.

4) What was your biggest mistake in business and what did you learn from it?

I don’t think I made any biggest mistake, but did learn from somethings that didn’t work, picked up my learning and moved on.

5) What is your biggest obstacle in the next 12 months and how will you overcome it?

Shambhavi - Inspiring Startup Stories

My biggest obstacle is that even advice and solutions become stagnant and predictable. I have to constantly rejuvenate and refresh myself in my methods and approach to each of my clients.

I  also aspire to take my work, my passion to different cities and even international.

6) What habits contribute to your success?

To form a habit that is rewarding one needs to understand a lot of things. It took time but I realised that the trick is to manage ‘time’ and ‘build’ on every relationship that comes your way.

7) If you had the opportunity to start this business again what would you do differently?

I don’t think I want to do anything differently as i have picked a lot as i have moved on. It has carved a newer me, i have grown along with my work and become more calmer. So am happy with the way things have shaped up.

 8) What is your favourite inspirational quote?

I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.

9) Where do you find inspiration?

My true inspiration is the smile on my client’s faces. Their friendship, trust and from me being a guide in their healing process. I stand in gratitude with what comes my way.

10) What is your favourite book?

I randomly read a lot of great books based on various subjects associated with my work. And I am very fond of Sai Sachatrira which has the stories and miracles of Sai Baba.

11) What advice would you give to someone starting out?

There is no one rule to make or break, to everyone out their just get up and go for it…

“You are never too young to start an empire. Never too old to chase a new dream.”
