In the much awaited big event , Apple launched three new iPhones, a heath-focused refresh of the Apple Watch, a new iOS and other new software updates. Apple rolled out three new models of iPhones – iPhone XS (read as 10 S), iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. The iPhone XS Max is the largest and most expensive iPhone ever, costing around $1,100.
Another attraction from is the Apple watch, which is reinforced with a heart monitoring system. The watch comes with an electrocardiogram. Apple has also rolled out the latest iOS 12 at the event.
The iPhone XS Max comes with a 6.5 inch display. iPhone XS, priced at $999 has a 5.8-inch screen. Both the phones come with Face ID and there is no fingerprint sensor. However, the suprise package of the event was Apple iPhone XR, the ‘lower end’ handset from Apple, priced at $749. It comes with 6.1 inch screen and has many colour variants- white, black, blue, coral and red.
iPhone XS and XS Max pre-orders start in the US from September 14 while the iPhone XR can pre-ordered from October 19. Apple fans in India have to wait longer to get these flagships devices as Apple didn’t make any official comment in this regard yet.
